Janet Ruggiero

Mrs. Janet Ruggiero has been the librarian at Norwood since 2011. Before becoming a school librarian she worked at other schools as a substitute teacher when her daughters attended Millbrook Elementary and Quimby Oak. Mrs. Ruggiero grew up in New York and attended Brooklyn College of the City University of New York.

One of the things she likes most about the Norwood Creek library is how it feels like a warm and welcoming place that is well organized and neat for our students. The library provides both quality fiction and non-fiction books that help to develop students' love of reading and thirst for knowledge.

When she isn't at at school, Mrs. Ruggiero loves spending time with her family whether it be board games, bowling, bicycling, mini-golfing, and visiting Disneyland and Lake Tahoe. She also enjoys reading and cooking.

Library and Media Center

Dr. Seuss QuoteNorwood Creek has an outstanding library and media center containing a wide variety of books, audio-visual materials, and other equipment.
